BATS
If you’re having a problem with bats, most likely your property is located within a narrow but long migratory flight path. Some structures have bats year round, while some only seasonally as bats migrate. There is a good probability that once bats find your structure, they will stay or at least return there often.
Bats are generally beneficial because they eat insects such as mosquitoes. However, their odor, noise, feces / Guano, and staining pose significant problems in human occupied structures. No matter how beneficial they are, most people fear them immensely. In rare cases, bats can carry rabies and can transmit them to humans by contact. Additionally, their droppings (guano) can pose respiratory health risks, especially in large amounts and in confined spaces.
Urban Bird Services avoids physical contact with all bats, both for their safety and for ours. Typically we will locate all crevices and voids where bats reside or will reside, relocate the bats, then seal up crevices. Urban Bird Services then removes the bat guano and implements a full-scale clean-up and deodorization of the areas. Contact us today for a professional survey of your structure.
